AuctionWorx mobile apps for AuctionWorx

A white-label AuctionWorx mobile app is an iOS and Android app in front of an existing AuctionWorx site. It is not a separate marketplace. This guide covers setup: editions, branding, keys, store accounts, tiers, push notifications and OS updates. See Systenics white-label AuctionWorx mobile apps for the current offer. The base app starts from $1,799 (one-time, see systenics.com).

What the app connects to

Systenics describes a hybrid app that runs on iPhone, Android and in any web browser, and extends the platform without changing how core AuctionWorx operations run.

Check your AuctionWorx release first. The app is supported only on the latest version of RainWorx AuctionWorx at the time of purchase and is linked to that version, so the app and the site version travel together. If the site is behind, fix that first with the upgrade and migration service.

Enterprise and Events apps

Both editions are supported, and the screens follow the edition. Enterprise sites browse listings, Events sites browse events and lots. The seller side splits the same way: Create / Edit Event and Create / Edit Lot for Events, Create / Edit Listing for Enterprise. Demo apps are available to download, so install the one that matches your edition and look at the screens your team will use.

Branding, keys and store accounts

The app carries your logo, brand colors and UI style. The app settings you supply or set include:

  • Store links and app icon
  • Splash screen
  • Stripe keys
  • OneSignal keys

The app is published under your own store accounts, so you own it on the stores and can see the reports they generate. Renew the Apple Developer account every year ($99) or Apple may delist the app. Systenics can’t guarantee a store will accept the listing, because Apple and Google change their policies and some kinds of business aren’t allowed. Deployment is included in the one-time price. Arabic support in the multi-language feature costs extra.

Tiers

  • Buyer ($1,799): browsing, following auctions live, bidding and account screens.
  • Buyer + Seller ($2,299): adds seller screens. Create and edit listings from a phone, with photos from the camera or gallery.
  • Buyer + Seller Pro ($2,699): adds AI title and description generation, advanced search and swipe navigation, multi-language support, and the extra push notification types below.

Add-ons: an employee role that restricts access to sensitive data, migrating your website customizations to the app, UPC barcode lookup (Amazon, Home Depot) for quick listing creation, warehouse management integration, and delivery management with pickup scheduling.

Push notifications and settings

Push goes to Android and iOS phones, for example when a user is outbid or is winning an auction. Notifications run through OneSignal. Outbid and purchase notifications are in every tier. The Pro tier adds the daily watchlist summary, closing soon, new event published, site announcements, a user preference screen and notification history.

Other app settings include maintenance mode (Under Construction Mode), forced app updates, showing bid history user names and time remaining style. Firebase analytics is Pro only.

Tier comparison

The table marks each feature as included or not for the three tiers. Everything outside these rows is in all three.

Who it’s for

Systenics builds the app for auction businesses on AuctionWorx Enterprise or Events Edition whose buyers and staff want to bid, browse, manage listings and get updates from a phone. Its industry pages describe it for:

  • Vehicle auctions: white-label apps published under your name, with outbid alerts, auction-ending reminders, watchlist summaries, and sellers who photograph a vehicle, run a VIN decode, annotate damage and list without a desktop. See vehicle auctions.
  • Estate sales: listing new estates on the go, with field agents photographing and uploading high-resolution images from estate walks. See estate sales.
  • eCommerce overstock and returns: sellers making listings on the fly with multiple hi-res photos, and buyers bidding from anywhere. See liquidation auctions.
  • Livestock, property and antiques suites: the app appears in each of those industry pages as part of the end-to-end solution. See livestock auctions and real estate auctions.

How it pairs with other products

Systenics’ walkthrough video covers the app overview and a real-time live bidding demonstration. Demo Buyer + Seller apps for Enterprise and Events editions are available to download.

After launch

There are no annual maintenance fees. Free email support covers issues reported in the first 30 days, bug fixes only.

  • OS updates: Google and Apple require updates every one to two years. Systenics charges for these, typically $500 to $1,000, sometimes less.
  • AuctionWorx releases: RainWorx ships frequent minor releases and roughly yearly major ones. Systenics doesn’t update the app for every minor release and does so at its discretion. Moving the site and app to a minor release costs around $300. A major release costs more, and the cost rises with the number of customizations.
  • Changes: new features, design changes and version upgrades are customization requests, estimated separately.
  • Source code: Systenics keeps the IP and doesn’t distribute the source. Later customizations and migrations of the app can only be done by Systenics.
  • Third-party services: OneSignal, the AI provider and the barcode lookup service may need paid plans depending on your usage.

Related use cases: vehicle auctions, livestock auctions and charity auctions.

Frequently asked questions

Enterprise and Events Edition.

You do. The app is published under your own store accounts. The Apple Developer account needs an annual renewal ($99), or Apple may delist the app.

Buyer covers the buyer side. Buyer + Seller adds seller features. Buyer + Seller Pro adds AI title and description generation, advanced search and swipe navigation, and multi-language support.

Yes. Google and Apple require updates every one to two years for compatibility with new Android and iOS versions, and these are chargeable. Moving to a new AuctionWorx release is a separate paid migration.

Buyer + Seller. The Buyer tier has no create or edit screens for events, lots or listings, no My Listings, and no consignor or sales report screens.

No. Apple and Google change their policies and some businesses are not allowed, so Systenics makes a best effort to comply but cannot guarantee a listing.
